Ferdinand von Siemens

Ferdinand von Siemens has been Professor of Economics, in particular Applied Microeconomics at Goethe University in Frankfurt since September 2012. After studying economics at the Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg and the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich, he received his doctorate in economics from the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich in 2004. He subsequently worked at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich and, since 2008, at the University of Amsterdam. His main research areas are applied contract theory, behavioural economics and experimental economics.
