Anniversary season - 30 years Collegium Novum Zurich

30 years of Collegium Novum Zurich. This is a reason to celebrate. The ensemble not only looks back on its successful history, but also combines the anniversary with ten composition commissions! The commissions, however, are not awarded to already renowned composers, but to up-and-coming composers who are of a similar age to the ensemble itself. This shows that age is relative. At thirty years old, the Collegium Novum Zürich is one of the most well-established ensembles in the field of new music. Composers of a similar age are still at the beginning of their careers: Marta Haladzhun, Tobias Krebs, Cécile Marti, Sebastian Meyer, Martyna Kosecka, Lukas Stamm, Gemma Ragués Pujol and Verena Weinmann. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is sponsoring the anniversary season.
