Contemporary Music Lab Concert Series 2013

One of the main focal points of the Contemporary Music Lab activities is the promotion and growth of contemporary music in Greece. The Contemporary Music Lab’s. aspiration is to cover the whole spectrum of contemporary music creation, however, special focus is given to music and aesthetics that propagate new and original sonic directions and cultivate an experimental spirit thus reflecting on the deadlocks as well as the perspectives of our cultural reality.
The Contemporary Music Lab Concert Series presents a broad spectrum of works from the international repertory in six concerts. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation supports the 2013 season featuring works by Xenakis, Feldman, Ligeti, Lutoslawski, Penderecki, Grisey, Sciarrino, Furrer, Mendoza, Pagh Paan, Saariaho, Saunders, Poppe, Schöllhorn and Klaus Lang.
