Asociación Cultural Mismar commissioned three works for solo oboe and string orchestra, since the repertoire for oboe and orchestra is very limited in Chile, although the country sees an increasing number of musicians who have specialized in contemporary music, collaborating with composers and premiering new works regularly. The organisers additionally are seeking for mutual enrichment between musicians based in Chile and abroad on different professional levels.

Prior to each premiere the audience will be given the opportunity to engage in online conversations with the composers and musicians.
